Aside from eating and sleeping enough, this is stupid and useless. No mention of technique work or fixing imbalances/weakness in the lifting chain. Amateur hour. Brosciencelife on YouTube is at least funny and entertaining while not really being informative.
Do you even lift?
If you don't like it then go watch youtube and stop complaining. The article assumes that you know alreader the proper technique of lifting.
Otherwise find a trainer and ask him to explain you how to lift properly before you start to wonder about plateaus.
Since you're selling yourself as an Internet fitness expert, maybe you could do an article or video coaching me on how to squat or deadlift or benchpress. An inspiring video of some of your best lifts would be inspiring too. Also, you should link your awesome fitness articles over in places where lifters tend to go, like T-Nation or EliteFTS. Maybe some of the folks at those places could benefit from your sage wisdom.
I don't remember telling that I am a fitness expert.
I know you aren't an expert, you're quite amateur, but why are you putting out coaching advice (and I'll assume, making money off it via web traffic). Your advice is not helpful in the long term because it doesn't address the long term issues that typically cause lifting stagnation.
Way to be exceptional, champ!
Totally serious about you doing that technique article/video.
It seems that you have all figured it out.
Zing, you got me good there. Nice one.
I should apologize. Yesterday's comments were too direct and rude; I'm sorry. I'm sure you're just trying to make your way in the world, no need for me to be so condescending to you when I could have been constructive instead. So in the spirit of constructive criticism, here is a link to one of the best in the field, discussing plateaus in the bench press. Hope you actually read it because it's some of the best coaching advice out there....and it's free! https://www.t-nation.com/training/lessons-from-the-dead-zone-the-bench
Don't worry. I will check it out. Thank you.
