Wow. This is a great idea. My experience with crowd-funding so far has not be stellar. Trackr Bravo shipped over 6 months late. Haven't received it yet. Bibliotheca delayed production by about 6 months but that's because of the overwhelming response. Plastc seems to be on track for shipping on the promised date but we'll see.
All that to say, I'll keep an eye on this. I plan to upgrade from a Samsung Galaxy S III to an iPhone 6 in the fall. Maybe I'll take a look then.
