Yeah, I got confused when I watched the recent version of "The Giver" because it was full of all these elite liberal professionally offended actors. Watching Meryll Streep speak out the line about when "people have a choice they choose wrongly", I laughed out loud. Hypocrisy at it's finest.
The biggest sin in society today is to, whether purposefully or incidentally, cause offense. To cause offense means that what ever it was that was said, written or even thought, needs to be eliminated.
And to think that those who push this asinine ideal are the very same people who argued to keep books like Fahrenheit 451 in public schools after other idiots called for their banning.

The last time I read "Fahrenheit 451" was probably thirty years ago. I think it's time for a re-read. So prescient of today's culture.
