Flags don't kill people any more than guns do. Are we to eliminate all of history when one or more people find it offensive? If the U.S. flag had been represented in the South Carolina shooting, would the same people be calling for it to be removed? It's hypocritical thinking made by people who believe they are changing people's attitudes towards hate when in fact,m they are only creating more hate and divisiveness. Ask the good people of Mississippi to vote on whether the flag needs to be updated to make it more modern but leave the Civil War and slavery aspect out of the discussion. That's only leading the witness to agree with someone else's personal opinion.
Well said. When I first saw the picture of this individual I have seen many like him while living in AL, GA, NC, VA. The bow tie, has at least a few seer sucker suits. I'll leave it at that...no offense to those who chose that type of garb, but there are certain personalities that go with it. ;-)
