Basic Canadian brews are just as weak as basic American brews. But Canadian craft brews can hold their own against the American craft brew industry. I've had some pretty darn good craft beers north of the Maple Curtain. On the other hand, Rickards or Molson is about as unpleasant as a Meisterbrau or Bud Light on any given day.
