Wow, an honest journalist. I thought they were extinct. Thanks for sharing. Maybe there is hope after all.
Will Rahn, CBS News. I'll try to remember that name. I honestly would be satisfied if the media would return to their job of being the watchdogs of those in government, however if some of them could recognize the legitimacy of middle America's concerns in the procress that would be nice too.
I can assure you that with a Republican in the Presidency and control of Congress the media will return to their job of being "attack" dogs.
Ha, yes. I remember the last 6 years of the Bush administration and I was so silly for thinking the press would treat all future presidents that way. I'd imagine the press will be working extra hard to make up for lost time.
Can't wait to see his first press conference in the White House.
Remember the media are going to do lots of soul searching, apologising and introspective articles now; all in order to try to claw back their status and position.
If the major networks moved 50% of their journalism staff to rural America, it'd be a good start at combating smugness. Hard to be truly smug and dismissive to the people who are your community.
