One of my best friends had one of these hanging from his headboard when we were younger. He rigged a headphone plug onto the cord so that he could plug it into his boombox to listen to the radio while he was in bed. He would just turn the volume all the way down when he was ready to sleep.
He passed away around 20-years ago. I miss the hell out of that guy. Thanks for the memory :)
