Growing up in California it was all about the goldenrod PeeChee folder. They were usually modified with a pen when bored in class. And for the real enterprising OCD (read your parents were'nt going to fork over good money on a Trapper Keeper why PeeChees were under a dollar at Pick-n-Sav) you took the three hole punch and made your own Trapper Keeper with you blue denim 3-ring binder.
