It's not just in the US. I was in Ireland in 2014. Went back in 2017. Found two things from the US that had been transplanted there: Brisket/BBQ joints and Craft brewers. Kilarney was just a small town tourist stop on the way to the Ring of Kerry. It now boast two breweries making craft brew. While no one competes with Guinness and Harp reviews were pretty good. Can't give you a first hand account as the place was closed on the day we were there and we left before it opened the next day.
