This makes sense to me. Give me a window with a scenic view and I'm happy as a clam.

My first office job was in the leftover Cold War bomb shelter meant for the Nebraska State Government in the event of nuclear fallout. It was completely underground (got to enter through dual blast doors), so no natural light whatsoever and minimal fresh air for an office maze of 40 people. No surprise morale was awful and the turnover rate quite high for state government. Since then, all offices I've worked in have had big windows, and it makes a huge difference.

Wow, a bomb shelter?! I would be upset working there too.

My junior high was built with most of the rooms without windows and fluorescent lights. That age is hard enough for kids... not having windows was almost torture.
