    Reminds me of woodshop in Jr. High. Kid was on the table saw splitting a 2x6 length wise. Damn thing shot across the room like a missle and made a massive BANG against the wall. Needless to say, shop teacher stopped all work and we got a lesson on kick-back.

      My shop teacher gave us some valuable advice for working with most electric tools: "Watch your business, or your business will get cut off."

        Sage advice. Most of the advice I got that was not from my shop teacher was from my Dad. Usually it was along the line of "Don't do that. You won't like it. See...told ya that'd hurt. Now get me a beer and the 7/16's..."

    Scary video. This sort of thing is why I don't regret spending extra for a SawStop (in addition to using a riving knife or guard).
