In California, back in the 70's, 80's and 90's, CalTrans would use bright orange trash bags to collect trash on the sides of the freeways. As a joke, I once told my wife that if I died, just put me in an orange trash bag and set me beside the freeway; CalTrans will take care of the rest.

Told that joke while a CalTrans exec was standing near by. He blanched and said, "That's not a joke. We get at least one body a day along California freeways. Sometimes they are in plastic trash bags."

So I don't tell that joke any more. I just tell her to bury me in my kilt and have people pass by my open casket and bellow like a Klingon to let heaven know I'm on my way!
