I lived in Lititz, PA (about an hour from Hanover) when I was a kid. We had a local business called Sturgis Pretzel Bakery. Started in 1861, it was the first commercial pretzel bakery in America. It is still in operation today. You could go in and get a freshly made soft pretzel right out of the oven. Best thing ever.
