I did something similar recently with a 9.4 lb. pre-smoked, spiral-cut ham I purchased at Sam's Club for $18. I rubbed it down with some Meat Church Honey Hog rub before placing it on the smoker. Use apple chunks for the smoke flavor. After two hours at about 280 degrees, I pulled it and added the brown sugar glaze that came with the ham. Back on the smoker for 30 minutes to caramelize then slice and serve. Possibly the best ham I have ever had.
