Best all around camping stove. Ultra-light, burns any alcohol, and is tiny! Fits inside the cup in my mess kit. Oh, and did I mention it is practically free? I have made and used two- thought I'd share it with you!

These things are great. The easiest way to fuel them is to use "denatured alcohol" from the hardware store. You'll probably find it near the paint thinner.

Have you looked into wood gas stoves? Equally cheap and you don't have to carry fuel with you.

Hubby made one of these for fun. We haven't used it, but did light it up for fun.
