Tried it yesterday, worked great. Tip: get a large french press if you want make it frequently, It's really messy otherwise.

i just put mine in a large jar, shake it, put it on the counter, shake it again a couple of times over a 24 hour period, and then pour it through my gold filter.

i have the toddy system too, but stopped bothering with it; not that it's a huge bother, just that the jar method is so simple and takes up less space.
