You guys should do me a huge favor:

When you go to In n Out, TIP. Per company policy, the workers aren't allowed to accept tips, with the company reasoning that the workers get paid well enough and should provide quality service to everyone regardless. This is straight bullshit. Those kids bust their asses more and deserve tips. They'll inform you that they're aren't allowed to accept tips at first, but if you absolutely insist the company is OK with it, since it's rude to deny an insistance.

Also, In n Out requires its male employees to come to work clean shaven everyday: No stubble, no neatly trimmed mustache, nothing. They claim it is partly a health issues and partly helps uphold In n Out's squeaky clean image. This, again, is utter bullshit. I'm sure many of you men on this site are supporters of facial hair rights and should speak with a manager next time you eat at one. Mustaches are an American tradition and it's disgusting this otherwise excellent company infringes upon such a tradition by denying their workers the ability to grow proper facial hair. I, for one, would trust a mustachioed man to cook my burger much more than a bald-faced one.

I'm not disagreeing with you Willie but is tipping really a norm in any fast food restaurant? If not should it be? At an establishment where tipping isn't the norm I don't think there is really any structure for dividing up tips either, meaning the $1 I give to the gal at the register probably isn't going to be split into a bunch of dimes and distributed. Or is it?
