Kinda shocked with some of the top ten. So many other books that are way better. I guess some of these have actually helped get people into reading, that maybe worth it.
Twilight? Seriously? How disappointing.
Wow... Twilight? Harry Potter? The Da Vinci Code? That's really disappointing....
I'm pretty sure the twilight books were read by just a few girls...thousands of times. That explains the 43 million.
I'll say this for the Harry Potter series... It certainly got a lot of kids interested in reading. For that alone, I'll give the series an A+.
Interesting but we need the raw data to verify. Seems to be intentionally biased to favor the Bible. For example, there are more than 1.6 billion people of Muslim faith. I find it hard to believe the Quran would not make this list. Also, Twilight and Harry Potter are total numbers for a series of books, not a single publication so that seems to skew it a little. Other than that, it's a cool way to show the top books.
Many muslims are not literate, in many muslim countries the girls are not allowed an education.
Wasn't Mein Kampf also an incredibly highly circulated book?
