Would this be any different if a republican was in the white house? If that were the case then it would be "patriotic" since a democrat and a black democrat is in the white house it considered mass murder.

Woah, chill GLT. It is mass murder. The fact that the Bush-Cheney war criminal administration did it first (and Clinton, HW, Reagan, Carter...) doesn't mean it's okay.

I'm a bleeding heart over here, but Obama's been terrible on this count, and in general with executive power on the whole.

" The idea of war isn't to die for your counrty, it is to kill the other SOB before he kills you." That is what drones are doing to the enemy saving our soldiers lives.

I agree, it is a little foolish to imagine that the advent of drones is somehow creating or increasing the violence we commit in other countries.

No, it doesn't matter whether it's a Republican or a Democrat that does it. I was against Bush's torture and indefinite detention, and I'm against Obama's rendition and assassination.

As for "getting the enemy," or "saving our soldiers lives," I suggest you look into the case of Abdulrahman al-Awlaki. A 16 year old boy, who was also an American citizen, that was drone bombed 2 weeks after his father was assassinated by another drone strike. Abdulrahman was not a terrorist. Also look into why the Obama administration has re-defined the term "combatant" to include any military age male within a strike zone. What this means is that any adult male is automatically considered a terrorist if they're killed by a drone. So saying this is about getting "terrorists" or the "enemy" is nonsense. How many innocent civilians has Obama murdered? Impossible to say.

I am so tired of the race card being played, every time an Obama supporter tries to defend him. I guess with a record as bad as his, you have to stoop that low to defend him!

I'm also tired of Presidents who use executive power to kill. Say what you will about Bush, but at least he declared war, and congress (both parties) voted for it!

Why would Fox News need to mention that he had interracial romances in NYC and Boston? (1) It doesn't add to the piece or is really relevant at all. Why do many pundits still call him Barack HUSSEIN Obama? (Savage, Limbaugh, Levin). Have you ever trolled through the comment section of any news article on Fox News directly relating to Obama? God forbid what comes up on sites like Drudge Report.

Racism is alive and well in the US, even if not so much as it was 40+ years ago, and this is true especially in relation to Obama's turn in office. Pretending it isn't doesn't help defeat it. Conservative arguments against Obama's policies don't need the race card, and democratic ones supporting him don't either. But no, we as a nation are not forgetting he or anyone else is black.
