When is it intolerant to take a stand for your beliefs? A gentleman knows what he believes and stands for it. Even when his beliefs aren't popular.

To answer the question...when religious leaders determine the rules. That is the surest way to lose many of our cherished civil liberties.

Perry, I'm not aware of any religious leaders taking away civil liberties in the US. Thank goodness.

A 91 year old conservative Christian business man stated his view. He didn't wish harm or death on anyone, just gave his opinion based on his own personal beliefs. Now he's being vilified and his business attacked by liberal politicians!
On the other hand, total waste of life Roseanne Barr, stated she wishes anyone who eats Chick-fil-a get cancer, and she's celebrated for her comments.

And the media is getting to the point of just plain foolishness with this and with anything else conservative.
