It is more likely that you hope he doesn't exist. As a philosopher and Christian apologist it is my job to study these things. I have discovered 99.9% of people not only have not read the Bible, they have never even opened it up. Yet they will tell you they have. With something as major as where you will spend eternity, I would probably look into it, instead of just going with the status quo, if not you will have a very long time to regret it.

There is no evidence that Satan exists. I don't "hope" that he doesn't exist, I don't even consider it a real concept because it is so ridiculous. Are you worried about Zeus?

You don't have evidence, therefore it doesn't exist. Might want to rethink that one.

It's a good thing we haven't allowed lack of eveidence to keep us from progressing technologically, socially, scientifically, etc. as a species.

It's curiosity and inquiry that has led to our progress. Science is based on evidence. It's a good thing we haven't allowed lack of eveidence to keep us from progressing technologically, socially, scientifically, etc. as a species. In general, a lack of evidence is evidence of absence.

Negative Ghost Rider. The lack of evidence isn't the problem. The denial of existing evidence and the search for more is. Believing all of "this" just happened by chance is ridiculous. The order, the specificity, the severely minute margin of error for existence alone begs the question Who, mot how? And once you are honest with that question, the existence of a supreme evil is a given.

Wrong, Stephen. The existence of the universe is not evidence that christianity or any other religion is true. As I mentioned before, there is no viable existence of satan.

Guess we'll find out in the end. If
I'm wrong, I've spent a lifetime serving something other than myself. I don't want to think about the consequences when you find out you were wrong.

The fact is there is more archeological evidence to support the Bible than any other work. So much in fact archeologists use the Bible as a GUIDE for where to dig.

The archeological evidence supports that places described in the bible often existed, not that any supernatural events occurred or beings actually existed.

The bible is nothing more than two thousand year old poorly written mythology.
