Yea the Bible says otherwise, Cor 6:18
"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body."

Let he without sin cast the first stone.
Should we go on sinning so that grace may abound?
All have sinned and fall short of glory of god.
The gift of god is eternal life.
Great writer. One that understands grace.

Christianity is authoritarianism, after all, we are "Created sick — Commanded to be well." Not only is there no factual basis for the bible, but it is also ethically unsound.

Hey egro...can you please start putting some evidence up for your claims? I'm getting a bit frustrated with you doing little more than trolling on anything religious, be it Christian or otherwise.

    Thanks.

Cham3leon, he isn't saying it isn't a big deal... he is saying we are sinners and if/when we fail it isn't the end of the world, because we can be forgiven if we ask.

egro I would suggest reading some C.S. Lewis. The first few chapters of Mere Christianity deal with ethics and the basis of the Bible. Most everyone agrees Lewis' writings are nothing short of masterful.

Ergo, pretty wild statement of ignorance you posted. When the Holy Bible makes a factual statement, the statement has not been found to be inaccurate. Sometimes it takes a long time for the proof to be found, but the lack of proof is not the same as disproving a fact.

@ahnyerkeester - if it was every now and then it'd be one thing. But it's all over this site and it's frustrating. And there doesn't appear to be any way to make a formal complaint.

This site is about a celebration of manliness, however you define it, and in some cases civil debate. But not every single post needs to be a debate. And if you're going to debate, present facts, don't just snipe with Terminator like one-liners having no basis of evidence or fact.

If you don't like it, don't agree, aren't into it...move on, nothing to see and no need to be negative.

I can dig that Stephen. For some reason when it comes to the internet, some folks feel the anonymity is a chance to snipe but not engage.

One discussion board I was on had a cool way of dealing with it. Someone would swoop into a thread and make some broad, off the cuff remark. People on the thread would reply with what they had for lunch, as in, "Just ate, not hungry, not biting." :)
