I'd have to say the MLB version of this is more accurate. With the realignment thnigs got changed up a lot and for me at least the Falcons may be the only team around but since the South is a college football place for the most part those of us that are in to NFL are more varied in our likes. I actually know very few falcons fans in even East Alabama. I think the Titans have actually spread a bit further south as well. And the Saints may have had a good story a few years back but they are the black eye of the NFL in my opinion. Further more and to the point, The Redskins, my team, as well as a few others are dynasties and their fan bases stretch much further than the lines on this map. The Cowboys are the only team with near enough land and even they have a much broader fan base than that. All in all it was fun to look at but overall I would say this kind of map doesn't do justice to NFL fans.

I too like the baseball one (http://gentlemint.com/tack/5916/). And I feel fans of any team can try to argue that their team should be more widespread. I'm a west coast guy, so it is not as jam packed with teams, but even I want to see my 49ers move out towards that uncharted land. On the east I am guessing the artist did the best he could in effort to give proper respect. Really there is fan-civil-war in each state.

It's a nice map but it has a few inaccuracies. For starters the southeast is all wrong. You can end the Falcons at the Chattahoochee River because Alabama belongs to the Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers. You can give southern Mississippi to the Saints but the rest is torn between Ole Miss and State. Also the northern half of Florida is solidly Gator or Seminole country. It’s not that we don’t care about the NFL it’s just that choosing a side in these areas is more of a rite of passage than anything else.

Gonna have to contest the Ohio layout. NW Ohio (around Findlay) are big into the Steelers. Probably because it is the home of Big Ben.
