One reason is because just about every BS, uber-liberal, PC, or just plain non-sense law that gets passed to further regulate our great nation starts in friggin' California. Also, what's with California being the save-all, end-all authority on EVERYTHING? "The state of California has determined (insert whatever) is hazardous to your health and small, endangered, zebra-striped, field mice" Who cares what your state thinks?!
