Remember old school floppy disks? They came in two sizes: 3.5″ and 5.25″ and stored not much more data than the size of a single MP3. It was never a question of if, but when they’d meet their official demise, which believe it or not wasn’t too long ago.

Nick Gentry, though, has found a use for the defunct tech by creating mosaics. Well, sort of mosaics – he uses the floppy disks as a canvas and incorporates parts of the label and mechanical parts of the disks into his work.
