About 6 months ago, I built a super simple desk out of precast steel legs and a single sheet of birch veneer plywood. I put together a blog post that illustrates the process because I thought someone might find it useful.

That is a great looking desk you built and an excellent write up. Thank you for taking the time to include the extra pictures and details. The legs you chose remind me of the Eames Wire Mesh Eiffel Tower side chair or Eames expression of the ESU Desk. Simple is art. Form is function.

Thanks man, yeah the design is super simple but I really didn't need anything other than a place to sit and work so it's worked well in that regard. I'm a huge Eames fan and I hope to continue to do posts like this as I make more complex projects.
