It's also beneficial in areas where shooting is legal, but the noise might annoy others. 2. Recoil reduction. 3. Flash reduction. As a shooter with a suppressor, it allows me to fire and maintain my hearing, both long term and short term (helping maintain situational awareness).

In reality 6-7 months is the standard lead time for SBR and Suppressor approval right now.
With fees and the cost of the can, that's $800-1000 to make your gun make less noise. Ear plugs are under $1. Your choice.
