I want to make those burgers AND I would like that kitchen.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Ok, made these. Here are some suggestions for anyone wanting to try them:
1. **The Bacon** - If you're going to use the ground bacon, make sure that you make thin patties. If you're going for a thick burger, your bacon won't get cooked fully, and you don't want to mess with that.
If you're wanting a rarer burger without the food poisoning, you could pre-cook the bacon and sprinkle it in with the ground. I've done this before... it doesn't give as much of the smoky flavor, but adds a lot of crunch.
2. **The Special Sauce** - Man, this stuff is really good. If you're wanting the heat and don't have any pickled jalepenos handy, just use a bit of Sriracha. This adds a nice kick, and is much simpler.
